Wayne Ahrens has 45 years of experience in design, project and program management for major infrastructure projects throughout Texas, with special emphasis on water supply and distribution systems, wastewater and sanitary sewer systems, and water and wastewater treatment plant facilities. His qualifications also include the design of numerous water wells, ground storage facilities, elevated storage tanks, distribution and collection lines, pump stations and lift stations of all types and sizes.
He has led or been involved with such notable projects as West Harris County Regional Water Authority (WHCRWA) Program Management; North Harris County Regional Water Authority (NHCRWA) Major Infrastructure Design; City of Galveston New 30th Street Pump Station; City of Houston Lift Station Rehabilitation/Replacement Program (50+ lift stations); and the Harris County National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Program. Wayne joined the firm in 1971, is a Principal and serves as Chief Operating Officer (COO) as well as serves as one of Dannenbaum’s Program Managers.
